Jason started racing when he was 6 years old in Karting, then he moved up to Legend Cars. After finding success in Legend Cars, he moved on to NASCAR Late Models and Super Late Models. Jason drove the #3 Late Model for DEI after Dale Earnhardt Jr moved to the Busch Series. During his early career, Jason celebrated many accomplishments including 13 Late Model wins, 7 Late Model poles, and over 50 Legend Car wins. In 1999 during a race Jason was involved in what he thought would be a career ending crash, sustaining multiple injuries.

After many years, Jason returned to the driver’s seat in 2015 to complete a test session at a local South Carolina short track and has since worked his way back up. Jason made 2 K & N Series starts in 2019 and 3 ARCA Menard Series starts including races at Charlotte, Chicagoland and Iowa.

In 2021, he returned to run a limited schedule in both NASCAR Late Models and the ARCA Menards Series.

Jason is not your typical up-and-coming driver. At 41 years old, his maturity and adaptability set him apart from the competition and appeals to both the new and seasoned race fan. Jason is determined to succeed in the NASCAR Cup Series and prove that it is never too late to chase your dreams.
